  • Washing our hands before and after seeing patients.
  • Using gloves, if needed, while treating our patients.
  • Apply hand-sanitizer and/or wash hands when departing the clinic.

Patient Protocol

Mask Protocol

Masks are currently OPTIONAL for patients at Robbins Rehabilitation West

***If you are exposed or not feeling well, please read the exposure policy below.

Exposure Policy

Our exposure policy is currently based on CDC recommendations

If you are UNVACCINATED (this includes if you did not receive the booster in addition to your vaccines) and have been within 6 feet of someone who is positive for covid for 15 minutes or more over a 24 hour period we ask that you do not attend your appointment. You will be allowed back into our facility if you test negative 5-7 days after exposure.

If you are FULLY VACCINATED (You received all vaccines including the booster) and have been within 6 feet of someone who is positive for covid for 15 minutes or more over a 24 hour period, you DO NOT need to cancel your appointment unless you have symptoms. Please notify your treating clinic and our suggestion is that you get tested 5-7 days after exposure to be sure you are negative and you must wear a mask in our facility for up 14 days following initial exposure or until you have a negative test.

**Exposure definition is coming in contact with someone is if both of you were unmasked within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more within a 24 hour period.

Return Policy

You tested positive for COVID, now what?

Robbins Rehabilitation West Staff Guidelines

Our staff, if exposed or if positive for covid, follows the same standards as above. Below is our current mask policy.

Masks for our staff will be required if Northampton and Lehigh Counties are in RED (High) or YELLOW (Medium) categories. If Northampton and Lehigh Counties are in the GREEN (Low) category, masks will be optional and at the clinician/staff discretion. HOWEVER, if you as a patient request that your treating therapist wear one, he or she will put a mask on.
